Sciatic Nerve
Largest nerve, runs from lower back to feet.
The sciatic nerve is the longest and widest single nerve in the human body, originating from the lower spinal cord and extending down the back of each leg. When irritated or compressed, it causes sciatica, characterized by pain, numbness, or weakness in the leg. Massage therapy can alleviate pressure on the nerve.
